Sensational views. We travelled from Australia in a group and a few of us agreed it was the best ham we had ever had. Roast pork was delicious and ice cream delicious. Highly recommend.

Touring with a small private group from Australia. What a truly genuine and wonderful experience! The food , the service, the ambience five star . We were recommended to come here by a local and are SO glad we did . Can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Karl and your terrific team

This place is a gem. On the outside it is just one of the picturesque buildings dotting the hills over the valley; inside, however, you will have a wonderful experience of the local produce, dairy, and game. Let the staff advise you on the best seasonal choices available and then choose from the great wine list available in their well stocked cellar. The ravioli I had were delicate yet intense with pumpkin flavor. The venison goulash was bold and tender. The views are refreshing and spacious while tranquil, with the occasional cow bell breaking the contemplative mood of the scenery. Please make a stop here if you're driving around the A22: it's a short distance away and a truly memorable experience that goes beyond your taste buds.

The trek up to this restaurant was well worth It. It has the most spectacular view and is a very cozy comfortable environment...not pretentious. There is no menu, like most have explained, so you must trust the suggestions of the servers and go with whatever they have available that day. We felt like we were a bit of an inconvenience, partly because we came in between meals (around 3pm) but also because we only spoke English. We wish we had asked more questions about dishes because we didn’t fully understand everything our server said but at the end of the day It was still a wonderful meal.

You probably need to check out this gem. If you can on a clear day the view is amazing. Unfortunately it was raining when we went but I would go back and try more. I took a picture of the view halfway down the mountain.
